New Ipad First Charge

You don't need to charge an ipad when you first get it. you can charge at any time. fyi. the quickest way (and really the only way) to charge your ipad is with the included 10w or 12w (5w on mini) usb power adapter. ipad will also charge, although more slowly, when attached to a computer with a high-power usb port (many recent mac computers) or with an iphone power adapter (5w).. My suggestion for how long to charge your ipad the first time is until the battery indicator reaches 100%. but that doesn’t mean you can’t use it in the mean time. take the wall adapter out of the ipad box, connect the usb cable, and let the ipad charge the first time while you use it.. This will fully charge a first- or second-generation ipad in a few hours, even if you’re using the ipad at the same time; the third-generation ipad will take a bit longer, as explained below..

Apple unveiled new ipad pros at its product event in brooklyn on tuesday. the new tablets came with a surprise: you can use them to charge your iphone. apple added a usb-c port to its new ipad. Apple’s just-announced ipad pros are making the switch to usb-c, and with that switch comes a nifty new feature: you’ll actually be able to use your ipad to charge up your iphone on the go. You can charge your new iphone as long as you want to have it juiced up. yes, 100% correct btw, you should not let the battery drains down to be lower than 10% before recharging it, it does damage the battery..
